At 4,576’ above sea level, our Dry Creek Vineyard Zinfandel and Syrah grapes are grown at one of the highest grape growing elevations in California. Grown and produced at our winery in Crestline, the wine opens with aromas of mocha, coffee, and a hint of espresso surrounded by floral and fruit aromas of candied cherry, strawberry, and blueberries with subtle herbal undertones. The palate follows with a mixed berry jam of raspberries, strawberries, cherries, and blueberries with toasted vanilla, caramel, toffee, and essence of molasses. Nice acidity and dusty tannins make for a long, complex finish. Aged in a 32-gallon Hungarian Oak barrel for two years prior to bottling.
