Sourced from a small vineyard in Phelan and produced at our winery in Crestline, California, this layered and complex wine opens with the aromas of white pepper, oro blanco grapefruit, burnt orange peel, and black cherries. It exhibits a rich mineral, full bodied structure on the palate, with flavors of grapefruit, white pepper, sage, black cherry, and black licorice. Aged in a 3-year-old French Oak barrel for one year prior to bottling. The complexity is sure to develop further with bottle aging.
