This full-bodied wine was sourced from Tierra Alta Vineyard in Santa Barbara County’s Ballard Canyon AVA and produced at our winery in Crestline, California. The wine opens with aromas of black plum, black cherry, maple syrup, and bacon on the nose. It delivers fruit flavors of black plum, blueberry jam, cassis, and black currant, with delicious savory flavors of chocolate, mocha, coffee, and toffee, rounded out by a soft herbaceous, black pepper, and anise on the finish. Aged in blend of a 25% French Oak and 75% American Oak barrels for one year prior to bottling.
