With grapes sourced from Tierra Alta Vineyard in Ballard Canyon this wine was produced at our winery in Crestline, California. Ruby color in the glass with aromas of fresh red cherries, strawberries, pomegranates, and watermelon, along with dried blood orange and ruby red grapefruit peel. The palate follows with the same red fruits, with a bit more ripeness along with cherry cola essence and red floral characteristics. The wine was aged mostly in American Oak barrels (33% new) and one once used French Oak half barrel for one year in the cellar prior to bottling.
